Chong Min Koo

Principal Research Scientist

Chong Min Koo received his MS (1999) and PhD (2003) from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeon, South Korea. He conducted research on the block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers as a postdoc (2005) at the University of Minnesota (U.S.A.). He then worked as a senior research scientist (2007) at LG Chemicals in Daejeon, South Korea. He was also a visiting scientist (2011) at the Penn State University (U.S.A.). He has been studying several research topics on the polymer composite, polymer actuator, polyelectrolyte, and hybrid capacitor as a principal research scientist in the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) from 2005. He also serves as an adjunct faculty professor in the Nanomaterials Science and Engineering at University of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea.
